Just want to thank you
for the great show last week! We were in the front row and will
always remember this cruise only because of your performance.
Thanks too to Barry! Would like to see you at the Allegan County
Fair sometime.
Ijust wanted to let
you know that whenever I here the song see you in september it
always puts a smile on my face and take me back to a time when
things were so much simplier. I love that song and thankful to
you for many, many good memories.
I was fortunate enough
to attend the show Saturday eve(9/12) at Oneill's Restaurant in
Maspeth, Queens as well as Sunday aft(9/13) beach side at North
Hempstead Park in Port Washington N.Y.I had a super time at both
and you guys are awesome.Phenominal! It was a pleasure meeting
you 'Bob' and I hope The Happenings' return to the N.Y Tri-State
area again real soon.Thank very much for a nice way to end
summer.
As I told you after
the party you performed for recently, it is wonderful to hear
close harmony again, and to know that it is not a lost art.
Unfortunately, I believe you are the only band left that
remembers how to do it! Thanks again for a terrific evening.
I wanted to let you
know how much I enjoyed your performance. Although, I'm only 36
yrs. of the age I can appreciate you! They don't make music like
that any longer! U sound great and keep up the good work. Be
blessed
Just to say hi and
miss you all. I called and spoke to Iris and left my phone
number. Hope you can give me a call sometime. I have been laid
up for over a year on and off but still around. I have not been
able to make any concerts, but hope to next year if possible.
Still the BEST group
performing today.
As a former musician all you gentlemen are "perfection
personified". You deserve the thunderous Standing Ovations
you receive.
Your music is so
great.I am going to follow all of your shows coming up I will be
at the american music theater in 2010 for your show I was ther
for your concert in longbranch Nj a couple of weeks ago Thanks
I have been a fan of
the Happenings for ever. Thank you for posting the pictures from
the car show. I was able to see Kenny my son play saxophone. Who
ever thought my son would play with The Happengings. Thanks
again you guys are great.
Hi Bob, It was so nice
seeing you again:) My husband, Mom and I really enjoyed the
show! You and the band sound great! It brought many fun memories

Thanks very much for
coming to Long Branch. We enjoyed the concert very much,
especially Drummer Bob.
WOW, you guys gave us
a fantastic concert tonight! I haven't seen the group perform in
a long time. My friend Mary Ann and I used to follow you guys
all around NJ when we were all younger! LOL! Anyway, I just
wanted to say thank you for coming to Long Branch. Everyone
enjoyed it very much and you all sounded so wonderful! I can't
wait to put your CD's on my Ipod so I can listen to them all the
time! Thanks again!!!
Got #1/Forbidden Love
on LA ROCK from a late guitarplayer from Hazleton, PA. He
mentioned a second LA ROCK 45 with a remake of See You In
September. Was it ever issued ?

We have been a fan of
yours for MANY years. Saw the show at Verona - it was great as
always. So good that we also went to the show in Lyndhurst. Hard
to tell which was better so give you guys a 10+ for both. Keep
up the great work.
Great show Friday night. I'm glad you didn't get rained out. You
sound and look great! I really enjoyed it. I never get a chance
to go to shows, so I'm happy I was able to catch you guys.
My wife and I enjoyed
your concert in East Hanover, Tuesday, July 14th. We are both
from Paterson, NJ too. Sorry we didn't get to say hello, perhaps
next time. Please keep on singing those great songs!
We just returned from
your concert in Verona. Me and my wife had a wonderful time. As
I write this I am listening to one of your CD's that I purchased
at the concert. It's terrific.! We have been fans for many
years; in fact, I grew up in West Paterson, and lived a few
houses away from Michael LaNeve, a wonderful drummer. I would
often hear the group practicing during the summer nights. Thanks
again, and best of luck------you guys sound great.!!
Pat
Wonderful concert!
You all sound great and my husband and I truly enjoyed the
evening. He actually graduated High School w/ Phil from the
Duprees. We laughed at your reference. Take care and see you
again! (in September lol)
knew Bernie LaPorta
from North Arlington High School.
Your songs, especially See You in Sept and Sealed With A Kiss
have special meaning from a very long time ago.
Keep up the great work. Looking forward to seeing you in
Lyndhurst NJ on July 17, 2009
It was great to put
names to faces! We saw you guys in concert on the Grandeur of
the Seas and how WONDERFUL! The concert was GREAT - - You still

Just heard your
concert on Grandeur of the Seas. It was great. Hope to see you
at the Lancaster show in March.
Just wanted to say how
much my wife and I enjoyed your show on 06-20-09 at the East
Side Cannery in Las Vegas. Thanks for a wonderful evening and
look forward to seeing you again and bringing family
members........Scott Derrick
Caught your show last
nite at the East Side Cannery here in Vegas, all I can say is
"WOW". Living here I have seen many of the
"old" time greats and let me assure you, for me, you
rank up there on top with the best. Many good wishes for the
future and keep it rolling for us old timers.
I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU
SINCE YOU WERE SINGING IN THE "BONFIRE" PARKING LOT IN
PATERSON, DECADES AGO. BUT, I STILL LISTEN TO YOUR LP THAT DAVE
GAVE ME YEARS AGO. SEE YOU IN JULY IN EAST HANOVER! I WILL TRY
TO BRING SOME OTHER PATERSONIANS WITH ME. IT SHOULD BE GREAT;
JUST LIKE THE OLD TIMES AND THE FORMATIVE YEARS!
Thank you for helping
out Saturday as the LAST MINUTE replacement for Jimmy Beaumont
and the Skyliners. YOU WERE FANTASTIC. My husband has taught me
to love Doo Wop but as you were on stage, I had to whisper in
his ear "At least I was BORN, for these hits". The
whole show was terrific, Thank you again for filling in.
Just saw you as part
of the Doo-wop concert at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pa
last night (5/16). You guys were the hit of the show!! I can't
imagine how difficult it was for you since you were a last
minute replacement, but you sure came through!!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know it is probably
a huge expense, but you guys ought to offer a shirt, or hat or
some such thing. I would be proud to wear one , as youv'e been
such a big influence on me. If there is such an outlet for
Happenings stuff I would sure like to know about it. Keep makin
great music!
Thank You again for a
one if not the best concert we have ever seen, you guys are the
BEST. We will attempt to see you guys again at the AMT in
Lancaster next March. Till then, Thanks and Take Care
John and Beth Brunozzi
I am a big fan of
yours from the 60's and just found out your sister is my good
friend's sister-in-law. We hung out together over the weekend.
She said to visit the website and drop you a line. Looking
forward to seeing you in concert again!
I was downloading some
of my favorite tunes since I've been a kid. You have some of the
top ones! For most people that are well, memories never die.
Music has so many memories for me, and your group plays a big
part of it. By the way, saw you guys in concert back in the 60's
at a place called the Red Barn in Indiana, PA! Of course, you
were great!
Back in the mid 60's
our local college, booked the Happenings for one of their events.
My best friend lived right behind the gym. We helped take in
some gear and everyone was very nice. The performance that night
helped cement my decision to become a
musician. Thanks to the Beatles and the Happenings I'm still
playing today, some 40 years later. Thank You and all the best.
We saw you guys in
Shreveport, Casino Magic awhile back. Even ate breakfast with
yawl. But please come close to our state, so we can catch your
great performance again. See ya- Oklahoma City
Just saw The
Happenings on the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas. Great
show and great guys.....they even posed with me for a
picture.....made my day. Thanks guys, you're all good sports.
Jean
By any chance, did you
ever live in New Jersey near Jersey City around 1969-70.
My girlfriends and I met some guys who said they were The
Happenings. One of them called me a few times and sang
See You in September? Those were the days and you guys are
great!!
George, Bob, Bob and
Barry. We met and spoke with you during the cruise. We spoke
about the joys and trials of raising teenage girls. (remember us
now?) Anyway, we enjoyed every minute of our conversation, as
well as your show. It was spectacular, and we can't wait to
share your cd with our girls back home. May God bless all of you
and stay safe in your travels. Take care..... The Kitzman's
Hi Guys,
Sorry I couldn't make the other concert while you were down
here;got busy with work and all. Will catch you guys next time
you're in sunny Florida.
"J"
Hey Bob. Glad to see
them 'old bones'still walking around. The Happenings are still
one of the best and you remain one of the 'good guys'...Perhaps
our paths will cross next summer; if not, 'See You In
September.'
